Triton competition teams provide local water polo athletes with a one-of-a-kind training experience that lasts all year round. Our high-quality coaching and professional-level training help players reach their full potential. Our coaching staff sets a high bar for integrity and performance; we expect our players to meet these standards.

Our holistic team workouts are designed to prepare athletes for high school and college competitions while instilling foundational values that last a lifetime. We also offer players the opportunity to participate in national-level tournaments and training trips, exposing them to top-level competition and training. At Triton, we believe in the power of sisterhood. Our team philosophy emphasizes the importance of working together and creating a strong bond between players of all ages. Our younger athletes look up to our older players as role models, building a team that plays with and for each other.

Girls Competition Teams | 2023-24

Triton Competition Teams offer a comprehensive 9 to 12-month program (depending on the age group) with the option to take a quarter off. To maintain your spot on the team, you must commit to the Winter and Summer seasons. Please note that if you decide to take a break without making arrangements with our coaching staff, we cannot guarantee your spot will still be available when you return.

Girls Teams:

Recognizing the importance of quality training and individual attention, the Girl’s program is capped at 30 athletes. This limit ensures that each participant receives the focused guidance and support needed to truly excel, maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the Triton Development Program.

TRAINING STRUCTURE

Athletes will participate in 4 - 5 weekly practices throughout the year, depending on the season and the focus. Workout focuses will change throughout the year based on tournament load and season.

In Spring, we expect HS athletes to participate in their swim teams and adjust the practices that season to accommodate for this. In the Fall, HS athletes will play for their HS team and return in the Winter.

Triton Flex Practices

T/TH - Chalk Talk/Flim Review (Classroom) @ 7:00 PM -  In these sessions, we will review team strategy topics, check both our games, and watch high-level pro/college/Olympic games. This will be an excellent opportunity for classroom-structured learning and a way for our parents to get involved.

M/W - Dry-land conditioning /mobility Training @ 7:00 PM - We will run a dynamic dry-land warm-up to encourage bodyweight strength training, core work, and mobility improvement. This will safely help athletes to build up strength and prevent injury.
