The Triton Aquatics Club Age Group offers a comprehensive, year-round training program designed for aspiring athletes keen on advancing their swimming skills. This program is an ideal blend of high-quality coaching and professional-level training, aimed at preparing swimmers for competitive arenas. With a strong emphasis on integrity, dedication, and performance, the program sets high standards, passionately upheld by its coaches. These standards are not just about athletic excellence, but also about instilling lifelong values in the participants.

The program is structured to offer numerous development opportunities, allowing swimmers to participate in local meets and trials, thereby nurturing their competitive spirit and skills. Moreover, it emphasizes both individual skill development and team spirit, which are crucial for social development and sportsmanship. A unique feature of the program is that it helps open doors to USA Swimming meets and events. This progression is part of the club's comprehensive training pipeline. The Triton Age Group is inclusive and nurturing, catering to a diverse range of ages and abilities, and fostering a love for the sport. Additionally, the program offers personalized coaching within small groups, ensuring focused attention and guidance for each swimmer, thereby enhancing their technique and preparing them for the challenges of USA Swimming Competitive Swimming.


Age Group

Triton Age Group is a season-to-season program for entry and intermediate-level athletes who are not yet ready for regional or national-level meets. Coaches will work with these athletes to improve technical stroke work and increase distance, endurance, and strength training.

Spring Quarter Practice Schedule

Athletes will participate in 4 practices per week. Practices will be structured with individual stroke development and strength and conditioning.

Coaching Staff

Coaches at Tri-Valley Triton Aquatics Swimming comprise a diverse and experienced group, including past members of the USA National Team, NCAA National Champions, and recognized athletes from college and high school. They also include current varsity coaches from local high schools. Dedicated to player development, these coaches focus on swimming skills and nurturing individual growth. Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, leadership, and communication, they work towards the collective progress of athletes across various age groups and skill levels. Central to their philosophy is fostering a robust Tri-Valley Swimming community, where swimmers, parents, and coaches come together to support the bright futures of their athletes.


TRY OUTS & MINIMUM PREREQUISITES

Our minimum requirements to participate on our pre-competition teams are as follows:

  • Must Be Water Safe
  • Must Be Able To Swim 25 Yards Freestyle

SIBLING DISCOUNT

Families with more than one athlete enrolled in either Competition, or Recreational teams will receive 15% off monthly enrollment for the second child and 25% off for the third. Please email membership@tritonaquatics.org with their information, and we will provide you with a discount code for registration. You will need to request a new code every quarter. Discounts will not be applied during the registration process automatically.


TRITON REFERRAL PROGRAM

The Triton Referral Program awards current members a saving when they refer new members and are assigned to a Pre-Competition or Competition Team. After the current and new members are registered, both will receive a 10% credit for that quarter's dues. Please email membership@tritonaquatics.org with your Triton Referral's first and last name along with their email.


Membership Dues

Development Swimming dues are processed at $750 per season and can be paid in full or on a payment plan. Halfway through the current season, you will have the ability to register for the next season.


Refund Policy

Commitment to the Season:

We encourage all members to commit to the season, recognizing that unforeseen circumstances may arise. For added protection, we recommend purchasing AIG Sports Insurance during registration.

Refund and Credit Policy:

1. No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds under normal circumstances. Credits will be considered in specific situations.

2. Credits for Medical or Family Emergencies (Before Season Start Date):  A written credit request (via email) must be submitted before the season's official start and will be considered for documented medical or family emergencies.

3. Refunds After Second Week of Practice:  After the second week of practice, we may offer credits for missed practices due to conflicts, provided notice is given.

Travel Trip Refunds:

1. Full Refund for Tournament Cancellation: In the event of a canceled travel tournament, you will receive a full refund.

2. Forfeiture of 25% Cost for Non-Participation: If you choose not to participate in a tournament after payment, you will forfeit 25% of the cost paid.

By registering for the season, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. No cash refunds will be provided, only club credit in cases of documented medical or family emergencies before the season start date. After the second week, credits may be offered for conflicts, but no cash refunds will be provided.
