Triton Aquatics Foundation’s (501c3) role is to create a community-driven resource that supports the sustainable growth of Water Polo & Swimming collectively in the greater Tri-Valley.

Triton Aquatics Foundation’s (501c3) role is to create a community-driven resource that supports the sustainable growth of Water Polo & Swimming collectively in the greater Tri-Valley. Investing in our aquatics community will break down financial barriers for individuals, families, and self-funded local high school and college aquatic programs. Your support will ensure the longevity and success of the aquatics community.

The Foundation is run by a cooperative board comprised of parents and local Swimming and Water Polo coaches from local clubs, high schools, and colleges here in the Tri-Valley. The Foundation relies on private funding and corporate contributions to create the following opportunities: Financial Aid, Community Development, and Scholarships.

Financial Aid Fund: Participation in youth sports is an investment toward your child's future. Studies have shown that participation in youth sports greatly impacts individual development and is often attributed to academic and future success.

However, we recognize that not everyone has the same access to resources to put toward their athlete's athletics. Our goal for the Club and Foundation is to work together to break financial barriers for ALL members while giving the best experience possible. In the short term, the foundation will award Financial Aid on a need-based basis with an application process. The long-term objective of the Financial Aid Fund will be to help offset the cost of club operation, team travel trips, and other expansion efforts, which will drive costs down for all members.

Community Development Fund: As Triton Aquatics is committed to creating a sustainable aquatics community for current and future athletes, the Foundation will directly invest in local self-funded programs such as high school/college water polo and swimming. Working with local coaches, the community development fund will make monetary contributions, donate equipment and help finance travel trips and other high-cost expenditures which will directly benefit the aquatic community of the greater Tri-Valley.

Scholarship Fund: For our local athletes, playing in college is a dream and is an admirable achievement stemming from hard work and determination. The Foundations would like to encourage this work ethic and reward athletic accomplishments based on merit.

In partnership with locally owned businesses, the foundation will award eight scholarships to four Water Polo and four Swimmers each year, comprised of male and female athletes. These scholarships will offset the cost of college and continuing education.

Want to get involved? We are always looking for creative individuals to help support our programs here in the Tri-Valley. Get in touch and see how you can get involved!
