We are excited to announce the addition of Lawrence Li to our growing, talented coaching staff at Triton Aquatics! Starting this Fall, Coach Lawrence will act as our Head Age Group Coach and Swim Director for all age groups. Lawrence brings over 15 years of high-competition swimming experience as an athlete and coach.

Lawrence started swimming at a young age internationally and excelled throughout his career as a swimmer and coach. From 2010 - 2015, he swam internationally and trained alongside Olympians for Team Shanghai on the FINA World Cup Circuit (2011 - 2015) and eventually stateside in USA Swimming events such as the Speedo Championship (Pro Series) and Grand Prix (Pro Series) before training under Ron Heidary with Orinda Aquatics from 2014 - 2017. Before transferring to UC Berkeley, Lawrence set team records at Las Positas College as a CCAAA All-American and 2017 - 18 state finalist.

Lawrence has worked with high-level athletes of all ages across the Tri-Valley at Pleasanton Seahawks, Las Positas College, Tri-Valley Masters, and Dublin Gators.

We are excited to have him join us this Fall to start and develop our Recreational and Competition swim programs. This Fall, he is working with our in-season water polo dual sport athletes to prep for our USA Swimming Competition Team, which is on track to start this Winter. He will start private lessons later this month for those seeking individual training and stroke work.
