Meet Coach Zach

Head Age Group Swim Coach

Coach Zach comes to Triton with a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. Zach grew up in Morgan Hill, California, and was involved in competitive swimming for over 13 years (2004-2017). Coach Zach’s formative years were spent honing his skills with the Morgan Hill Swim Club (The Makos), where he remained a dedicated swimmer for 11 years. Zach furthered his competitive swimming career in the Jr. College Conference at West Valley and was a key member of the winning men's team in 2014. Zachs journey continued at the NCAA Division III level at  Buffalo State  where Zach excelled  and was honored with the prestigious Henry Kissinger Best Teammate Award during the 2015-2016 season.

After completing college, Coach Zach spent his time nurturing young swimmers and developing their skills through personal swim lessons. His coaching career started with the Cheektowaga Stingrays, guiding the novice group in 2016-2017. Zach then progressed to the Silver Creek Valley Country Club, where he served as the assistant coach and co-head Cabana coach for the  2017-2018 season.  His coaching career continued as he was sought after by the Santa Clara Swim Club, in 2019-2020. There he served as the  assistant coach for multiple groups and co-led the Gold 2/3 group. His most recent tenure from 2020-2024 was served at Silver Creek Country Club. Zach served as the lead assistant coach and effectively led both the USA swim team and the cabana team throughout all four seasons. 

Thrilled to embark on this new chapter in his career, Coach Zach is passionately committed to bringing out the best in the athletes he coaches. His unique blend of competitive experience, coaching skills, and ongoing educational endeavors position him as a distinguished coach in the realm of competitive swimming.
